Rome/London, 2024 – 2026 

Bridgelaw Partners, with a multidisciplinary team led by partner Gianluca Benedetti, with team members Giuseppina D’Auria, Elizaveta Serebriakova and Emanuele Navigli (for tax aspects), has advised Grand hotel via Veneto and its owner Dr. Carlo Acampora in connection with the Euro 138 million facility made available by Oaktree Capital Management through a credit fund managed by Castello SGR, as well as the subsequent repayment of the facility. 

The credit facilities were intended to finance, amongst others, the rebranding of Grand Hotel Via Veneto in Rome for the launch of the first Nobu Hotel in Italy in November 2025. The hotel property has been completely renovated, featuring 122 rooms and suites (along with several facilities) designed by a well-known New York design firm.  This project represents the first luxury lifestyle hotel under the Nobu brand in Italy and the first Nobu restaurant in Rome. Nobu Hospitality is globally known for its 77 restaurants, 41 hotels, and 12 residences.
