Bridgelaw Partners advised the founders of Spati S.r.l.  – a company active in the sports betting and gaming sector in Italy under the brand Scommesseitalia, with a network of approximately 100 sports and horse-racing betting shops and corners, around 800 PVRs, and an online platform for betting, lotteries, and casino games - in connection with the sale of 100% of the company to Admiral Gaming Network, a subsidiary of Novomatic Italia.

The transaction was followed by the merger of Spati into HBG Online Gaming, another Novomatic Group company, and the migration of online operations of Scommesseitalia’s to Quigioco.it.

Bridgelaw Partners advised the Sellers throughout the different steps of the transaction, handling all corporate M&A and regulatory aspects of the sale and assisting the client in both the pre- and post-merger phases. Our team was led by founding partner Gianluca Benedetti, assisted by Francesco di Majo and Giuseppina D’Auria.
